Digital scrapbooking

so to be honest, I love the feel of paper. I love getting all of my paper supplies out and getting my hands dirty. I decided though in September to take the plunge and try some digital scrapbooking. I have to admit I really like it. It is quicker and I love the ability to make scrapbooks so much faster than before especially when I am so busy and don't want to be so far behind on scrapbooking that I feel overwhelmed. I did my homework when looking at digital programs. I certainly didn't want to waste my money. I found a website that had the top 10 programs and the my memories software ranked very high. I am in LOVE with the ease of the program. Definately a great choice for anyone new to digital scrapbooking. One thing I love is that for amazing pries they offer a full line of layouts. Above is a picture from the ABC book line. Here is the description from their website. For $9.99 it's a great deal

This Designer Template Created by Fayette Terlouw and includes 32 professionally designed page layouts (with 32 separate picture blocks), – different background papers, and – designer embellishments. This template set coordinates with the Forever Friends Designer Pack.

Cricut-my favorite machine

if you haven't looked at a cricut machine...you REALLY SHOULD. You don't need a computer and can print out letters and dicuts by just pushing a few buttons. I love this machine. I used to have a sizzix machine but then I found the Cricut. The new Cricut Expression even cuts out vinyl. It is super easy for children to even use. check out the Amazon link for a great price!

Valentine Ideas

Valentine's Day is such a fun time to be creative especially if you have children. Why not let the kids create their own Valentine's. It is cheaper than buying the boxed ones and most of you have card stock laying around and extra Valentine paper.

Supplies Needed:

Cricut Machine

Corner rounder

Card Stock

Valentine Paper

Glue Dots

Jewelry Bags (I bought mine at Hobby Lobby)

Instructions

Cut top tags that are 4"x3"

Cut Valentine paper so that it is 1/2-1" smaller than the tags when they are folded in half

Cut out 1 1/2" hearts using the Cricut or Sizzix machine (I personally love my Cricut Machine and the Scrapbook Supercenter have them for an amazing price)

Round all the corners of your paper

Take your top tags and fold in half (I love using the bone folder to get a crisp edge)

Adhere the Valentine paper to the bottom half of the tag

Fill your bags with your favorite candy

Adhere tag using Glue dots or if you are doing it for your coworkers you can staple them.

Scrap Rack

I have to admit that my kitchen table at times looks like a bomb of paper/embelishments etc has exploded on it. Several years ago, I found the most amazing organizer of my scrapbooking supplies. I am in love with the Scrap Rack. My supplies are all now in one place and organized. Before, when I went to Scrapbooking conventions and went that night to crops, I would lug a rolling cart full of supplies and spend half my time looking for stuff....no more....now everything is organized by seasons, colors etc. I love this so much that I am now an authorized seller. check out the scrap rack website. http://www.thescraprack.com/ check out the video and if you sould like to order the system let me know and I will offer you a 15% discount on your order.

Welcome

I love to Scrapbook. I have done it for years for Friends and Family. This site will have weekly (Hopefully a couple ideas weekly) of scrapbooking ideas. I love making Pages for my nephews, cards for friends and family. The links to the right are places I buy supplies from. I have found that they have the best prices and resources available.
